Traffic on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway is moving in both directions on NH-44. However, traffic police has urged commuters to adhere to lane discipline due to the poor road conditions caused by nomadic movement and single lane stretches between Ramban and Banihal.
“Overtaking may lead to congestion in this area. Additionally, traffic is flowing from Srinagar towards Kargil on the SSG road, while the Mughal road is open for one-way traffic for LMVs from Srinagar towards Poonch”.
