Jammu, April 29: Sadanand Vasant Date, Director General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), visited the Police Headquarters in Jammu, engaging in detailed discussions with Director General of Police J&K, R.R Swain, alongside other senior officers.
The meeting underscored the imperative of strengthening joint efforts in investigations to combat terrorism and dismantle support networks facilitating such activities.
It aimed to devise more impactful measures, emphasizing effective investigations as a priority.
The focus was on identifying avenues for sustainable support, resource allocation, and streamlined coordination between J&K Police and NIA.
This collaborative strategy seeks to enhance investigation efficiency and overall effectiveness in the fight against terrorism. Additionally, discussions included plans for capacity-building programs between NIA and J&K Police.
