Cyber Cell of J&K Police Recovers ₹3 Lakhs in Online Fraud Case

Jammu, July 18: The Cyber Cell of Jammu & Kashmir Police in Jammu District successfully recovered ₹3 lakhs following a complaint about an online fraud involving SIM card upgradation. The swift action taken by the police showcases their commitment to combating cybercrime and protecting citizens.
“The prompt response and professional excellence demonstrated by our Cyber Cell team led to the recovery of the defrauded amount,” said a police spokesperson. “We urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to online fraud.”
Authorities continue to investigate the incident and emphasize the importance of cyber awareness to prevent such frauds in the future.
