LEH, Oct 5 ( KINS): Droneacharya FPV drones, developed by Droneacharya Aerial Innovations, have set a remarkable high-altitude and top speed record in Ladakh. These first-person view drones, supplied to the Indian Army, have reached an altitude of over 17,000 feet, which is one of the highest ever recorded in the region. Additionally, they achieved a top speed of 129 km per hour, exceeding the required minimum of 60 km per hour, and covered a range of 6. 39 km, surpassing the set target of five kilometers.
The demonstration of the capabilities of Droneacharya’s FPV drones took place at Wari-la in Ladakh, showcasing their effectiveness in operations. The official statement highlighted that these drones have been inducted into the army since April 2024 and have now achieved this significant milestone. Prateek Srivastava, the co-founder and managing director of Droneacharya, commended this achievement as a major milestone for the company, emphasizing their commitment to providing top-notch technology for the Indian armed forces.
The FPV drones from Droneacharya Aerial Innovations have proven their capability in security and counter-insurgency operations by swiftly maneuvering and scaling high altitudes in a short time frame. These drones, designed for high-speed maneuverability in extreme environments, are equipped with advanced features such as water resistance, electromagnetic hardening, and advanced targeting capabilities. They can operate with or without GPS, making them versatile for various military applications including reconnaissance, arsenal delivery, and kamikaze strikes.
