Appointments committee approves repatriation of senior IAS officer Shantmanu

Srinagar, Nov 29 (KINS): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and training has approved the repatriation of Shantmanu, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the AGMUT-91, to his parent cadre.
Shantmanu currently serves as the Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Food and Public Distribution.
News agency KINS reported that this decision comes on the request of the Ministry of Home affairs and the repatriation will be carried out in accordance with the government’s standard procedures.
The notification, issued by the secretariat of the appointments committee of the cabinet, Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), has been circulated to relevant authorities, including the Cabinet Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, and the Secretary to the President of India, among others.
The Cabinet Secretariat of DoPT has ensured that all relevant stakeholders, including the Chief Secretaries of States and senior officials, are informed of the decision. (KINS)
