J&K Raj Bhawan Celebrates Foundation Day of Tripura, Meghalaya, and Manipur

Srinagar, Jan 21 (KINS): The Foundation Day of Meghalaya, Manipur, and Tripura was celebrated with great enthusiasm at J&K Raj Bhavan.
Students, security personnel, and residents of Tripura, Meghalaya, and Manipur living in Jammu and Kashmir were invited to a cultural program that highlighted the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” in honor of the occasion.
In his address, Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the three states. He paid tribute to the great personalities from these states and recognized their immense contributions to the nation’s progress.
The Lieutenant Governor also praised the socio-economic transformation of the North Eastern States, driven by the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He noted the rapid and inclusive development that has aligned the aspirations of the people of the North East with those of the entire nation.
“Tripura, Meghalaya, and Manipur are treasure troves of India’s rich traditions, culture, folk art, and crafts. With immense pride, I can say that today, the North Eastern States have emerged as growth engines of the country, inspiring society with their spiritual ideals and cultural values. I hope these blessed states continue to scale new heights of growth, progress, and development. I wish the people happiness, peace, and prosperity in the years to come,” the Lieutenant Governor stated.(KINS)
