SSP Ganderbal Chairs Crime & Security Review Meeting

Srinagar, Feb 25 (KINS): SSP Ganderbal, Shri Ragav S-IPS, chaired a Crime & Security Review Meeting at the Conference Hall, DPO Ganderbal. The meeting was attended by Addl. SP Ganderbal Shri Parvaiz Ahmad, senior officers, SHOs, and in-charge PPs of the district.

During the meeting, SSP Ganderbal emphasized the implementation of new criminal laws and provided a roadmap for increasing public awareness about their benefits. He directed officers to ensure that the provisions of the new laws are effectively utilized to serve justice. He also highlighted the victim-centric approach embedded in these laws, ensuring that justice reaches every individual.

SSP Ganderbal urged officers to intensify efforts against drug-related crimes and cybercrimes. Additionally, he issued directions for the speedy and timely disposal of pending UAPA and NDPS cases.

Participating officers briefed SSP Ganderbal on the security scenario in their respective areas. A detailed discussion followed on measures to counter challenges posed by adversaries. The SSP also stressed maintaining close synergy and coordination with other security forces operating on the ground.

The meeting concluded with SSP Ganderbal appreciating the officers for their dedicated efforts.(KINS)
