CM Omar Abdullah Pays Tributes to Police Martyrs at Zewan

Srinagar, Oct 21 (KINS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday led the Police Commemoration Day observance at Zewan, Srinagar, and paid heartfelt tributes to the brave police personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.

During the solemn ceremony, Omar Abdullah offered floral tributes at the Martyrs’ Memorial, joined by senior police officers and family members of the fallen heroes. The Chief Minister acknowledged the courage, dedication, and selfless service of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, saying their sacrifices would continue to inspire generations.

The event concluded with a ceremonial guard of honour and a two-minute silence in remembrance of the martyrs who laid down their lives protecting peace and order in the region.—(KINS)
