NHPC marks its 51st Raising Day with golden jubilee celebrations at Dulhasti Power Station, Kishtwar
KISHTWAR, NOVEMBER 07: NHPC Limited celebrated its 51st Raising Day today, commemorating its establishment on 7th November 1975.
The occasion holds special significance as the organization proudly enters its Golden Jubilee Year, marking five decades of commitment and excellence in the development of hydroelectric power in India.
Raising Day is observed every year across all NHPC Projects and Units, including the Corporate Headquarters at Faridabad. To mark this monumental milestone, cultural programmes were organized at Dulhasti Power Station, Kishtwar, reflecting the spirit of unity, achievement and cultural vibrancy within the organization.
Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. During the celebration, employees who have demonstrated exceptional performance and contributed significantly to the organisation’s growth were honoured by the dignitaries.
The event was attended by Head of Project Dulhasti (HOP), Suresh Kumar, General Manager, P.K. Jain, General Manager, Mukesh Kumar, General Manager, K.V. Sivakumar and Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Vajinder.
They also conveyed their heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all NHPC employees on this momentous Golden Jubilee celebration.
