BSF fully alert to ensure ‘zero infiltration’ in Jammu

Jammu, Nov 29 (KINS): The Border Security Force (BSF) is maintaining maximum vigilance to ensure “zero infiltration” along the Jammu border, Inspector General Shashank Anand said on Saturday during the force’s annual press conference.

He said all flood-damaged anti-infiltration infrastructure was rebuilt and reinforced within a month, turning the grid “two to three times stronger” than before. Anand noted that BSF remains alert round-the-clock and is equipped with advanced tools to operate effectively in winter and foggy conditions.

The IG said the force works closely with the Army, intelligence agencies, and other security units to thwart infiltration attempts and respond swiftly to any threat. He also highlighted the sacrifice of BSF personnel during Operation Sindoor and recent border duties.

Anand said all vulnerable routes were secured during the floods, and the BSF remains fully prepared to counter both terror infiltration and narco-smuggling networks active along the border.(KINS)
