Srinagar, Jul 30 (KINS): Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat on Thursday ordered the attachment of around 1.7 hectares of land belonging to five terrorists from Reasi district who are currently operating from Pakistan.
A police spokesperson said the action targets Altaf Din, Ghulam Mohammad, Mohammad Ashraf, Shabir Ahmad and Bahar Din, who had crossed over to Pakistan several years ago for arms training and are now working for the banned terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Police said the accused have been involved in supplying arms, ammunition and funds to support terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, besides attempting to radicalise local youth in the Reasi region.
The spokesperson also said proclamation proceedings have been initiated against Mohammad Qasim, a senior Lashkar-e-Taiba operative based in Pakistan, whose property had already been attached earlier this year.(KINS)
