District Doda Schools Closed Tomorrow Due to Inclement Weather, DC Urges Safety Precautions

Srinagar, Apr 29: In response to anticipated inclement weather conditions, all government and private schools in District Doda will remain closed tomorrow, April 30, 2024. This decision comes following directives from Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, IAS, prioritizing the safety of students and staff.
DC Harvinder Singh emphasized the importance of staying indoors and avoiding unnecessary travel, especially near water bodies. He urged residents to exercise caution, stating, “Stay indoors, stay safe! Please don’t go close to water bodies and avoid traveling unnecessarily! Especially keep kids indoors for their safety, please.”

The closure of schools on April 30, 2024, serves as a precautionary measure to mitigate potential risks associated with adverse weather conditions. Parents and guardians are advised to ensure that children remain indoors throughout the day for their safety.

District authorities continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates as necessary to ensure the well-being of residents.
