ADGP Jammu Zone Reviews Security Arrangements for Upcoming Buddha Amarnath Yatra in Poonch

Srinagar, July 15: In preparation for the upcoming Buddha Amarnath Yatra, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, conducted a comprehensive review of the security arrangements. The meeting, aimed at ensuring the safety and smooth conduct of the yatra, was attended by key police and civil society members.
“We reviewed security arrangements for the Buddha Amarnath Yatra and gave directions for proper arrangements,” said ADGP Jain. He emphasized the importance of meticulous planning and coordination among various security agencies to maintain law and order during the pilgrimage.
In addition to the security review, ADGP Jain held a meeting with members of the civil society to discuss and address any concerns related to the yatra.
The yatra, a significant religious event, attracts numerous pilgrims, and the authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure its success.
