Commissioner Secretary Jal Shakti inspects BADP, other works in Marh block

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 3( KINS): Commissioner Secretary, Jal Shakti, M Raju, (Prabhari Officer BADP and Incharge Secretary for Jammu district) today visited various panchayats of Marh block and inspected development works being executed under Border Area Development Programme and other schemes.

Commissioner Secretary assessed pace of progress on construction of community hall at Shama Chak, passenger shed at Shama Chak, lane and drain at Mohalla Prabhu Ram Panchayat Kana Chak, additional room at panchayat ghar at Jaswan under B2V3, road from Gajansoo Shamshan Ghat to Nai Basti, additional room at SDH Marh and related works.

He was accompanied by District Development Commissioner, Jammu, Chairman BDC Marh, DDC member Marh, Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti Department and other district officers.

Commissioner Secretary interacted with the PRI members and locals and assured them that they all shall be provided piped water connection under Jal Jeevan Mission.

He asked the executing agencies to expedite the pace of progress on all ongoing works being executed under Capex, BADP, B2V and other schemes.

He also assured the people that all their issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities for speedy disposal.( KINS)
