Brother of Gangangeer terror attack victim breaks down, ‘he never spoke of fear, now is gone forever’

Srinagar, Oct 21 (KINS): The Abrol family is grappling with an immense sense of loss and grief following the tragic death of their beloved son, Shashi Bhushan Abrol, in the Gagangir terror attack. Manish Abrol, Shashi’s elder brother, has opened up about the devastating impact of the incident, sharing heart-wrenching details of their last conversation and the family’s struggle to cope.
“We are still in shock,” Manish said, his voice trembling with emotion. “I can’t believe that my brother is no more. He was the life of our family.”
News agency KINS Manish reported that He recalled the last time he spoke to Shashi, just a few days before the attack.
“He sounded normal, happy. There was no hint of any fear or worry in his voice.”
The family’s ordeal began when Shashi failed to respond to their calls after 6 pm on the day of the attack.
A sense of dread washed over them as hours turned into days, and they awaited news of his whereabouts. Their worst fears were confirmed when they received the tragic news of his demise.
“It’s like a nightmare,” Manish confessed. “I can’t imagine how his wife and his two young children will cope with this loss. He was the breadwinner of the family, and now they are left to fend for themselves.”
The pain of losing a loved one to violence is unbearable, and the Abrol family is not alone in their suffering.
Many other families have been devastated by the same brutal terror tragedy.
Six other innocent people also lost their lives in this brutal terror attack.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the valley, leaving the people in deep sorrow and fear.(KINS)
