Srinagar, Oct 31 (KINS): SSP Handwara, Ifroz Ahmad-JKPS, chaired a crime and security review meeting at the Conference Hall of the District Police Office, Handwara.
The meeting was attended by senior police officers including the Sr. PO DPO Handwara, and SHOs from PS Handwara, PS Kralgund, PS Qalamabad, as well as the Incharge of PP Zachaldara.
During the meeting, SSP Ahmad emphasized the need for thorough case investigation and efficient case resolution.
He instructed investigating officers and SHOs to utilize advanced techniques and standard procedures to improve investigation quality.
SSP Ahmad also highlighted the importance of strengthening the counter-insurgency and security framework within their areas to ensure peace and safety.
SHOs were directed to intensify human intelligence efforts, maintain area control, and address property associated with narcotics and terrorism proceeds. Additional directives were given to safeguard non-local laborers and employees, urging constant vigilance to ensure their security.
All participants were advised to actively address these critical areas discussed in the meeting.(KINS)
