Northern Army Commander visits Chinar Corps, reviews operational preparedness

Srinagar, Dec 31 (KINS): Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General M V Suchindra Kumar reviewed the readiness of the Chinar Corps and praised the troops for their professionalism and successful operations that help maintain peace and security in the Kashmir Valley.
News agency KINS reported that during his visit to Chinar Corps, the Northern Army Commander interacted with senior officers and troops, reviewing the strategic framework and execution of counter-terrorist operations in the region.
He praised the personnel for their professionalism and the successful conduct of operations, which have been instrumental in maintaining peace and security in the valley.
The Army Commander encouraged the troops to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and remain prepared for all challenges.
Meanwhile as per reports the commander lauded forces for their successful operations leading to the elimination of top militant leaders, significantly weakening terror networks in the region.
Farooq Ahmed Bhat, alias Farooq Nali, a top Hizbul Mujahideen commander and the longest-surviving militant in the Kashmir Valley, was killed alongside four associates in Kulgam district on December 12. Earlier in December, security forces Killed Junaid Ahmed Bhat, a top Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant, in the upper reaches of Dachigam, Srinagar.
Junaid was allegedly responsible for orchestrating the deadliest attack on construction workers in October this year, which had sparked widespread outrage.(KINS)
