Day 111: Jammu, Srinagar Airports receive 30 domestic flights with 4,235 passengers aboard

JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 12: On day 111 of resumption of routine domestic operations in Jammu and Kashmir, 30 domestic flights with 4,235 passengers on board today arrived at Jammu and Srinagar Airports.

A total of 1339 passengers aboard 10 regular commercial flights arrived at the Jammu Airport while 20 domestic flights with about 2896 passengers aboard landed at Srinagar Airport today.

Pertinently, Jammu Airport Authorities have received a total of 938 domestic flights with 83,410 passengers while Srinagar Airport Authorities have received 1,526 domestic flights with 2,10,146 passengers since 25th of May till date.

Till date the government has brought back about 3806 passengers from various countries to the Union Territory through special evacuation flights in the wake of global pandemic till date.

After arrival, all the passengers were tested for the COVID-19 and transported to their destinations at both the airports amid strict observance of all necessary preventive protocols.

The Government has made elaborate arrangements for the arrival, screening, sampling and proper transportation of the passengers to the quarantine centers taking special care of guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) prescribed by the Union Ministries of Civil Aviation and Health and Family Welfare.

Cursory Inspection of newly updated Jamabandies of tehsil Majalta conducted

UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 12: Regional Director, Survey and land records Udhampur-Reasi Nawab Din along with Naib Tehsildars today conducted the cursory inspection of the newly updated Jamabandies, here at Tehsil Majalta .

During the course of inspection, it was observed that the Patwaries of Tehsil Majlata have made dedicated efforts in updating the Jamabandies under the guidance of Tehsildar, Saqib Saleem. The Girdwar Circles also completed the inspection. The Tehsildar was asked to attach the Fard Badr with the Jamabandies

Meanwhile, Tehsildar Majalta apprised the Regional Director that out of 42 revenue villages of Tehsil Majalta,  Jamabandies of 40 Villages has been updated and deposited and the rest two are under process of writing. He assured that the pending 02 Jamabandies will be completed as per the given timeline.

The Regional Director advised the Tehsildar to send the newly updated Jamabandies to Deputy Commissioner Office, Udhampur for final checking as per the provision laid down in standing order no. 23 (B).
