ADGP Jammu Chairs Meeting to Review Republic Day Arrangements

Jammu, Jan 21 (KINS): Addl. Director General of Police, Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, IPS, convened a meeting with officials from intelligence agencies, Army, BSF, CRPF, Armed Police, and District Police at the Zonal Police Headquarters in Jammu to assess security and logistical preparations for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations.
The primary focus of the meeting was to ensure the smooth and secure execution of Republic Day events across the Jammu region. Discussions centered on key issues such as law and order management, traffic arrangements, security protocols, inter-agency coordination, and ensuring the safety of both participants and spectators.
ADGP Jain underscored the significance of detailed planning and collaboration among all agencies involved to guarantee a safe and seamless Republic Day celebration. Emphasis was placed on maintaining heightened security, managing traffic efficiently, and ensuring the preparedness of all law enforcement and emergency response teams.
Additionally, the ADGP directed the SSP Jammu, SSP Traffic City, and other supervisory officers to ensure adequate parking arrangements and maintain a high level of vigilance within their respective areas of jurisdiction.
The meeting was attended by several key officials, including the DIGs of CRPF Jammu Sector, BSF Frontier Jammu, Traffic Jammu, Armed Jammu, and JKS Range, as well as representatives from various police and security agencies, including the SSPs of PCR Jammu, Security Jammu, CID CI Jammu, Railways Jammu, and others.(KINS)
