Srinagar, Sept 10 (KINS):The Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday issued an order posting senior IPS officer Abdul Ghani Mir (AGMUT: 1994) to the Jammu & Kashmir segment of the Joint AGMUT cadre.
The order, signed by Under Secretary Rakesh Kumar Singh, stated that Mir has been repatriated from Central Deputation and will assume charge in J&K with immediate effect and until further orders.
The decision was taken with the approval of the competent authority, the notification read.(KINS)
