Gurez, Aug 12 (KINS): A Tiranga Rally was organised in Gurez on Wednesday under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign ahead of Independence Day celebrations.
The rally was led by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gurez along with the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) and Station House Officer (SHO) Gurez.
School students, government officials and employees, and local residents participated in the rally. Carrying the National Flag, participants marched through various areas of Gurez and raised slogans promoting national unity and respect for the Tricolour.
The rally was organised to encourage residents to hoist the National Flag at their homes and actively participate in events being held as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
The event was part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ activities being conducted across Gurez ahead of August 15.(KINS)
