J&K Police Organises ‘Run for Unity’ to Honour Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Pulwama

Srinagar Oct 18 (KINS): To mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the “Iron Man of India,” Jammu and Kashmir Police organised a ‘Run for Unity’ from Boonura to Tahab Crossing in Pulwama on Friday.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students representing various schools across the district, who joined the run with great energy and patriotic fervour. The initiative was aimed at celebrating Sardar Patel’s enduring legacy while promoting the values of unity, discipline, and national integration among the youth.

At the closing ceremony, students who achieved top positions were honoured with certificates and mementos in recognition of their performance and commitment.

The community widely appreciated the J&K Police’s efforts to inspire the younger generation through such nation-building initiatives. The event not only fostered a sense of harmony, fitness, and collective pride, but also strengthened the message of unity that Sardar Patel envisioned for the nation.(KINS)
