Srinagar, Oct 23 (KINS): The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) on Wednesday held a rally in Gulmarg to spread awareness about protecting snow leopards, an endangered animal found in the Himalayas.
Local residents, and nature lovers took part in the rally, carrying messages about the need to save these rare animals and their mountain habitats.
Participants pledged to protect the snow leopard and help maintain the balance of the fragile Himalayan ecosystem.
Officials said the rally was part of BRO’s efforts to promote coexistence between humans and wildlife and to encourage people living in high-altitude areas to take part in conservation activities.(KINS)
