Kathua, July 06 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat on Monday reviewed the security arrangements for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY-2026) at the Lakhanpur Base Camp and along the National Highway in Kathua district.
During the visit, the DGP assessed the deployment of security personnel, traffic management, surveillance measures and overall preparedness to ensure the safe and smooth movement of pilgrims. He also interacted with officers on the ground and directed them to maintain heightened vigilance, seamless coordination and round-the-clock security to ensure the peaceful conduct of the annual pilgrimage.(KINS)
