Srinagar, Aug 27 (KINS): Indian Youth Congress National Secretary Manpreet Singh Mani has written an open letter to J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, urging the government to frame clear and fair rules for vehicle modifications.
Mani said the policy should distinguish between responsible vehicle enthusiasts and those involved in reckless driving or unsafe modifications.
He also said that young people should be given safety, clear guidelines and the freedom to pursue their interest in automobiles. He added that a proper policy could also create opportunities in tourism, employment and technical skills.
