Inter-Battalion Football Championship Begins at Nadihal Higher Secondary School

Bandipora, Sep 6: The Inter-Battalion Football Championship 2026 for operational battalions under the North Kashmir ops Range, commenced at the Nadihal Higher Secondary School playground in Bandipora on Sunday.
Organised by the 3rd Battalion, CRPF, the three-day championship will continue from September 6 to 8, bringing together nine battalions for a series of football matches.
The tournament began with an inauguration ceremony, followed by the opening match between 176 Battalion and 92 Battalion. Each participating team comprises 11 players.
The championship is aimed at promoting sportsmanship, physical fitness, discipline and team spirit among the participating personnel, while providing them an opportunity to showcase their football skills in a competitive sporting environment.
