98 BN CRPF Wins Inter-Battalion Football Tournament at Nadihal

Bandipora, Sept 9 (KINS): The North Kashmir Ops Range Inter-Battalion Football Tournament concluded Wednesday at the Nadihal Higher Secondary School Playground, with 98 Battalion CRPF defeating 179 Battalion CRPF in the final through a penalty shootout.
The final, organised by 3rd Battalion CRPF, Bandipora, remained undecided during regular play. The match was subsequently taken to a penalty shootout, in which 98 BN CRPF secured the victory.
Nine CRPF battalions under the North Kashmir Operations Range participated in the tournament. The championship was organised to promote physical fitness, discipline, sportsmanship, camaraderie and team spirit among the participating personnel.
The tournament was hosted by 3 BN CRPF, Bandipora, with matches played at the Nadihal Higher Secondary School Playground.
