Funeral prayers in absentia offered to slain Pulwama civilians in Srinagar

Srinagar:On the JRL call of Joint Resistance Leadership funeral prayers in absentia were offered to slain Pulwama civilians at Maisuma, Hyderpora and at Jamia Masjid in Srinagar, Kashmir’s capital city.

The funeral prayers were attended by several people including activists of both factions of Hurriyat and other separatist organisation.

“As we mourn the #PulwamaMassacreall roads leading to the town continue to remain sealed and leadership continues to be caged,people offer Gaibana Namaz-e-jinaza for the Martyrs at #JamaMasjidand other places,” tweeted Mirwaiz

On Monday, a JRL spokesman urged people to offer Giabana Namaz e Jinazah after Zuhr prayers for Pulwama civilians and asked people to visit to the homes of the slain and show solidarity with their families

The slain civilians were killed by government forces on Saturday.
