JKEWF calls for complete lock down strike on Feb 22

Srinagar, Feb 20 : J&K Employees and Workers Federation (JKEWF)  on Wednesday said that it would observe complete lock down strike on 22 February against harassment to Kashmiris in Jammu and outside state.

In a statement Publicity Secretary (JKEWF) Shabir Ahmad Mir said a unanimous decision taken by all employees leaders (constituents) of J&K Employees and Workers Federation (JKEWF) have taking employees on board before announcing the programme.

“We urge all government employees to make this complete lock down strike successful. Jammu employees have also agreed to be the part of this complete lock down strike,” he said.

Shabir said that most of the Darbar move employees and their families are at the verge of starvation and more than 4000 Kashmiri students, businessmen and labroures from Jammu, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Delhi and other outer states had reached back Kashmir in the wake of threats made to them after the Pulwama attack.

We couldn’t understand why government are non serious to act tough against the goons involved in harassment he said in the issued statement.
