Cabinet to review Reservation Policy, sets 100-day target for election manifesto promises

Srinagar Nov 22 (KINS): Cabinet Minister Javed Rana Friday said that a sub-committee will be formed to review the reservation policy in Jammu and Kashmir.
This sub-committee will engage in dialogue with all stakeholders to ensure an inclusive approach to addressing policy concerns, he told media persons according to news agency KINS.
“Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has directed cabinet ministers to initiate this exercise promptly, emphasizing the need for immediate action. The Assembly Secretariat has also discussed delays in implementing certain decisions, urging swift resolutions,” he said.
Rana highlighted that the government is committed to fulfilling promises made in the election manifesto. “The Cabinet has set a 100-day target to implement key commitments, showcasing its dedication to deliver on the pledges made to the public,” he added. (KINS)
