Winter vacation in Kashmir schools, colleges extended till March 11 due to bad weather: Govt

 

Srinagar, : The Government has further extended winter vacation of schools and colleges in Kashmir division till March 11.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Khan said that in view of closure of highway and bad weather, the schools and colleges will be closed till March 11.

“Highway remains closed due to bad weather and the two way opening has become difficult. So most of the students are outside and will not able to reach Kashmir on time. Further, there is weather advisory from Meteorological department. In this backdrop, winter vacation is extended till March 11.

All schools and colleges will reopen on March 12,” Baseer Khan said.
