Youth allegedly killed in forces action during clashes in Handwara

A 7th class student was allegedly killed in forces action during clashes in north Kashmir’s Handwara on Thursday evening.

Reports said a 7th class student identifed as Owaise Ahmed Mir son of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir resident of Mandigam area of Qaziabad of Handwara was critically injured during clashes this evening.

Reports said a group of youth pelted stones and rocks on forces who in turn fired upon them in which a class 6th student was critically injured, however he was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

A senior doctor posted at Handwara district hospital also confirmed the death of youth.

Meanwhile despite repeated attempts police officials were not available for commits.
