3 gamblers held in police raid in Kashmir’s Capital

April 25: Srinagar police in its recent action against criminals arrested gamblers from Ahmadnagar area.

Three persons were arrested following input about gambling activities in Shah Mohalla Ahmadnagar area of Soura, Srinagar.

Officers from Police Station Soura have seized playing cards and a stake amount of ₹18,200 from the gamblers.

Case FIR No 25/2019 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Soura.

Persons found indulging in criminal activities shall be dealt as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighborhood with the local police units.
