Srinagar Girl Selected for Twin international conferences in Thailand, Indonesia

 

An 18 year old girl, Mir Seeneen, from Srinagar has been selected as a delegate for the twin international conferences scheduled in October and November month in Thailand and Indonesia.

Seeneen, an undergraduate student of Cluster University Srinagar has been selected among 5893 applicants as one of Global Goals Model United Nations lll (GGMUN) delegates for the international conference to be conducted in Thailand in October.

“I have been also selected among 9745 applicants as one of Asia World Model United Nations III (AWMUN) delegates for the international conference to be held in Indonesia in November,” she said.

She said her motive for being part of these international conferences is to encounter the world with the brutal realities of Kashmir.

“I want to make people across the globe familiar with the Human Rights Violations taking place in our Valley,” Seeneen said.

The University and the educational institutions are supposed to bear the educational expenses of the students participating in such events.
