Forces launch nocturnal CASO in Sopore village

 

Sopore, Jun 04 : Forces on Monday midnight launched a cordon-and-search operation at Hathlangoo area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said that a joint team of army’s 22 RR, and special operation group of police (SOG) laid a siege at Hathlangoo village of Sopore on Monday midnight.

Local reports said, forces have installed the lights in the area and conducted door to door search operation.

SSP Sopore Javeed Iqbal also confirmed the incident to Kashmir Indepth and said that the cordon was launched following inputs about the movement of some suspected militants.

Pertinently, last month a local militant was killed in this Hathlangoo village.
