Big fishes have always got away: Munish

JAMMU : Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Friday said that the Union Home Minster Amit Shah’s direction to the Jammu and Kashmir government to take stern action against the “big fishes” involved in the corrupt practices is a welcome step.

Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish said, “The political dispensations which have ruled Jammu and Kashmir during all these years have not been able to do much vis-a-vis handling corruption cases in the state. The big and mighty have got away always.”

“The system being corrupt has ruined the lives of youngsters, who could have done wonders had they been provided with an opportunity to change their destiny,” said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.

“If we have to make our lives easy then we will have to stand on our own feet and give new people a chance. I assure you that if I am elected I will try my best to expose the corrupt elements within and outside the system,” said Munish.

“I have come to you people with a hope that you would support me and give me chance to represent you. We have to join hands to bring the much needed change,” he added.
