Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have busted a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) module in Hazratbal area of Kashmir’s capital city Srinagar that was planning to effect peaceful environment ahead of Republic day.
DIG in a press conference termed it a major success by busting this Jaish module. He said that these five OGW’S were planning to effect peaceful environment ahead of Republic day.
Huge quantity of incriminating material were recovered from arrested militant associates.
The DIG said that whenever security forces get inputs about presence of militants they act accordingly and conduct operations.
The operations are also being conducted in the hinterland so as to put pressure on the militants and prevent their strikes.
