Suspend biometric attendance offices ammed Coronavirus threat: DMEF appeals LG


Demands safe & protected workplace atmosphere

SRINAGAR, March, 06: Darbar Move Employees Federation (DMEF) J&K today appealed Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu for issuing employees safety advisory aimed Coronavirus threat working in government offices.


The Federation hold an important emergency meeting regarding the employees safety and appealed the Lieutenant Governor to take measures in this regard, besides suspending biometric attendance system in the offices in view of the Coronavirus threat.


The Federation also demanded for protective masks and hand gloves for the employees, besides set up a Coronavirus screening system in the offices witnessing huge daily public rush.


Speaking on the occasion, State President, DMEF, Ovais Wani said that workplace safety is very important for each and every employee because all the employees desire to work in a safe and protected atmosphere. He appealed the government take measures for the employees’ protection.


Senior Vice President Khurshed Ahmed, Vice- presidents Abdul Rashid Hafiz & Ghulam Rasool Paul, General Secretary Tufail Ahmed, Chief Organizer Tanveer Ahmed, Publicity Secretary Nazir Ahmed Khan, Treasurer Nazir Ahmed Bhat, Chief Spokesperson Er. Bilal Ahmed Lone, Spokesperson Javid Intikhab, Chief Coordinator Irshad -ul- Hamid, State President Special NPS cell -DEMF Mohd Amin Kilo and Media Sec Sameer Ajaz Mughal were present in the meeting.
