Two dead, one injured in Ramban road mishap

Ramban, Apr 23 : Two persons died and another was injured after a vehicle met with an accident in Maroog area of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir on late on Wednesday night.

An official told news agency— that a Tata Mobile vehicle (JK02W-4765) skidded off the road and rolled down into a 300 ft gorge on Maroog Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.

The deceased were identified as Faryad Ahmed son of Manzoor Ahmed and Mansoor Ahmed son of Mashkoor Ahmed– both residents of Kunfer, Chanderkoot.

The injured were identified as Naseem Ahmed son of Maqsood Ahmed from Kunfer, Chanderkoot was shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment, said the official.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ramban Haseeb Ur Rehman confirmed the killing of two and injury to one person—(KNO)
