Altaf Thakur condoles death of GNS Editor-in-Chief Tanvir

Expresses solidarity with bereaved family

Srinagar, May 12: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K spokesman Altaf Thakur today deeply condoled the demise of Editor in Chief of Global News Service (GNS) Tanvir Ahad stating that the deceased was a thorough gentlemen, a Nobel soul and a professional journalist.


In a statement issued here, Thakur said that Tanvir’s sudden demise has left a void in the journalism and his death is a big loss to the journalistic fraternity of Kashmir. “I pray for the departed soul for highest standards in heaven and express my sympathy with the bereaved family in this time of grief and shock,” Thakur said. He said that Tanvir was a best human being who would meet every one with a smiling face.


“Tanvir will be remembered for his contributions towards journalism over the past many years. His work will always be remember and he will continue to live in the hearts of his friends,” Thakur said.
