Authorities at the JBIT college in Dehradun has suspended a Kashmiri girl over her social media posts.
As per the suspension notice issued by the director of the Institution, an engineering student Mohsina Showkat has been suspended from the college “with immediate effect”.
“The institution has received some screenshots mentioning that Mohsina Showkat has posted highly objectionable content on social media”, it reads.
“As JBIT Group of Institutions is always strongly against this kind of anti-national and anti-social activities hereby we strongly condemn this activity. Therefore it is to inform all concern. that Mohsina Showkat student of B.Tech 3rd year Civil Engineering is suspended immediately till further oders, “reads the suspension letter.
