COVID-19: 55 cops among 90 tests positive sofar in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 18 (KINS): Fifty five Policemen among 90 tested positive for COVID-19 sofar in Kashmir Division on Monday.

A health official told news agency KINS total of 90 persons tested positive for COVID-19 today which including 55 policemen.

Officer said total 55 policemen among 85 have tested positive for COVID-19 at chest disease hospital Srinagar. He said samples of 55 policemen from district police line Ananthnag today turned positive.

He said five fresh positive cases of COVID-19 reported at SKIMS medical institute including three from Kupwara, one each from Srinagar and Shopian.

Pertinently, Kashmir Division on Monday recorded two deaths due to deadly virus COVID-19, taking the total toll of deaths in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir to 15.(KINS)
