Lockdown extension: J&K government issues fresh guidelines

    JAMMU, MAY 19: Government of Jammu and Kashmir, today issued new guidelines, instructions for the Union Territory for the extended period of lockdown ordered by the Centre.

The revised guidelines, for regulating activities within the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for effective Containment of COVID-19, were issued by Chief Secretary in his capacity as the Chairperson of the State Executive Committee, and under Section 24 of the Disaster management Act, 2005. As per the order, these new guidelines would come in effect from May, 20, 2020, till further orders.
