Srinagar, May 20 (KINS): Senior Bhartiya Janta Party Leader Sofi yousuf along with other leaders , Lateef Ahmad khan,Abdul Ahad wani distributed Dry Ration including Rice ,Flour,Cooking oil,Chilly powder,turmeric ,soaps, etc among needy people at Srigufwara,Budroo ,Wullerhama, Dehwatoo and Batkoot villages of Pahalgam Constituency.
According to news agency KINS, while briefing media Sofi said that they are continuously distributing Ration and essential items among the needy since the Lockdown 1 came into force and on the eve of Shab-e-Qader they have arranged Ration kits for needy people of Constituency Pahalgam.
“Our party stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of whole Country in this pandemic and testing times and upon the call of our Prime Minister Narindera Modi that no one should sleep hungry and has urged us to reach out to the needy people and feed them as much as we can”,he said.
“As the holy month of Ramadan is going on and ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr we will ensure that everyone have food to eat ,it is our prime duty and responsibility to reach out to these needy people at this juncture and I believe this is the greatest way to serve the humanity,” he added .
Locals hailed the efforts of the BJP leader for reaching out to them .(KINS)
