COVID-19: 23 Cops discharged from Anantnag after recovery

Srinagar, June 13(KINS): Twenty three policemen recovering from COVID-19 were on Saturday discharged from Ananthnag after testing negative for the disease.


Chief Medical Officer Ananthnag Mukhtar Ahmad confirmed to news agency KINS said, 23 Policemen after recovering from COVID-19 were discharged today. He said they had been admitted to the hospital after testing positive more than two weeks back. He added, after being treated their repeated samples turned negative and today were discharged. He said its really a sigh of relief for the police department as well as for whole.


Pertinently, 13 COVID-19 patients were today discharged from SKIMS Bemina (JVC), after successful completion of treatment and testing negative.
As per data available with news agency KINS, with this the number of COVID-19 recovered patients moves to 321 out of total COVID positive admitted patients numbering 417 till date.


The treated patients include COVID positive patients admitted for maternity care, till date 13554 tests have been conducted. (KINS)
