Illicit liquor seized in Baramulla, one held

Srinagar, June 24(KINS): Police on Wednesday arrested a bootlegger and recovered a huge quantity of illicit liquor in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Police official told news agency Kashmir Indepth  News Service (KINS) that during naka checking at Kralhal area in Baramulla, Police intercepted one Four wheeler commercial vehicle bearing registration number JK02 AS 4308. On checking, huge illicit liquor was recovered from the vehicle.

The officer said in this regard one person was arrested identified as Syed Tafazur Hussain son of Mohammad Hussain of Gingal Uri.

The officer said a case FIR Number 92/2020 has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.

Meanwhile, general public has applauded this police action.(KINS)
