Sopore, Sep 1 :Government forces on Tuesday evening launched a cordon and search operation in North Kashmir’s Sopore village.
Reports reaching KINS said a mixture of forces conducted searches in Bomai village of Sopore this evening and sealed all entry and exit points in the area.
A police officer told, following inputs about the presence of militants a joint team of Army’s 22RR, Sopore Police and 179 BN CRPF launched search operation in the area.
The searches in the area was on when last reports came in.
Pertinently, On Monday two grenades attacks were reported in twin towns of north Kashmir.
