Eat right India initiative: Anantnag  food Safety team organise  program for frontline workers

 

Srinagar, Dec 18 ( KINS): A training program for frontline workers of ICDS & Health department was organised by Food Safety Team Anantnag at Town Hall Kokernag under Eat Right India Initiative. According to press release issued to news agency KINS, the training program was attended by 225 ICDS helpers and Asha workers besides President  and Vice President Muncipal Committee Kokernag graced the occasion .

“The Chief guests appreciated the efforts of Food Safety Department and advocated for similar programs in near future. The President Municipal Committee Kokernag and Designated Officer Food Safety  Anantnag in their speech emphasized on reducing the dependency on junk food and opined for cultivating organic foods at homescale. During the training program front line workers were sensitised about balanced diet, food adulteration, waste disposal methods, Safe food practices as per the already devised module of FSSAI,”.
