Baramulla Police & 52 RR Capture LeT Terrorist Associate, ‘significant cache of arms, ammunition seized’

In a major breakthrough, the Baramulla Police, in collaboration with the 52 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), successfully apprehended a terrorist associate affiliated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit in Baramulla.
Police said that the joint operation, conducted with precision and coordination, led to the recovery of a substantial quantity of arms and ammunition.
“The arrested individual, identified as a close associate of the LeT, was taken into custody during a targeted raid in Baramulla. The operation, carried out with meticulous planning and execution, reflects the continued efforts of the security forces to dismantle terror networks operating in the region.
The recovered cache included weapons and ammunition, underscoring the potential threat that the apprehended individual posed to the peace and security of the area. The seized items have been cataloged as evidence, and investigations are underway to trace any links to other anti-national activities”.
“A case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and the Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Kreeri, marking a legal response to the apprehension and the subsequent recovery of arms and ammunition”.
