Baramulla: Executive officer Gulmarg has issued an advisory for vehicular movement between Tangmarg and Gulmarg urging vehicles to compulsarily wear tyre chains.

The advisory was issued on Saturday for vehicles as heavy downpour is being reported all across valley.

“All Vehicles travelling to Gulmarg from Tangmarg should wear chain kits on tyres. And 4×4 vehicles will not be allowed to  move from Tangmarg to Gulmarg,” SDM Gulmarg Shabir ul hassan said, adding none will be allowed to travel without chain kits.

Upper reaches have been receiving snowfall while plains have been receiving rains in the state leading to dip in temperature.
